Description

Constructed with the Alcohol Gas Sensor MQ3, this module offers a cost-effective semiconductor solution capable of discerning alcohol gases at concentrations ranging from 0.05 mg/L to 10 mg/L. Utilizing SnO2 as its sensitive material, the sensor’s conductivity amplifies with escalating alcohol gas levels while maintaining resilience against disruptions from smoke, vapor, and gasoline. With both digital and analog outputs, the MQ3 alcohol sensor module seamlessly interfaces with Microcontrollers, Arduino Boards, Raspberry Pi, among others.

This alcohol sensor, akin to a conventional breathalyzer, excels in swiftly detecting alcohol concentration with heightened sensitivity. Furnishing an analog resistive output commensurate with alcohol concentration, its drive circuit necessitates just a single resistor, simplifying interfacing procedures. A straightforward interface such as a 0-3.3V ADC suffices for seamless integration.
