Description

The sensor module, upon detecting an obstacle, activates its green indicator light and maintains a continuous low-level output signal through the OUT port. It operates within a detection range of 2 to 30cm with a 35° angle, adjustable via a potentiometer for increased or decreased detection distances.

Utilizing active infrared sensors, the module detects reflected signals, with detection range affected by target shape and reflectivity. Black-colored objects have the minimum detection distance, while white-colored objects have the maximum. The OUT port can directly connect to a microcontroller IO port for driving 5V relays, with straightforward VCC-GND-OUT connections. Stability is provided by the LM393 comparator, and the module operates on 3 to 5V DC power, with a red indicator light indicating activation upon power-up.
